Founded in 2012, Image & Frame began operations in the back corner of Inkslinger’s Inc, a cornerstone of the Tempe printing and design community for over 45 years. Through continuous refinement of our craft, acquisition of legendary industry collections, and the establishment of our custom-designed flagship studio in Old Town Scottsdale, we provide uncompromising, museum-grade framing solutions for collectors, artists, and galleries.

2012: The Beginnings

Eric and Lynn opened Image & Frame in the back corner of Eric's aunt and uncle's print shop, Inkslinger's Inc. After successfully proving our concept and eventually outgrowing the warehouse space, we transitioned to our location at 2200 North Scottsdale Road, steadily refining our operations into a precision workshop.

2018: Framer’s Workshop

In the summer of 2018, we had the extraordinary opportunity to acquire Rolf and Kris Gruller’s lifelong work, Framer’s Workshop. This milestone integrated a world-class operation featuring an unmatched, one-of-a-kind collection of closed-corner picture frames perfected over 40 years of dedicated craftsmanship.

2019: Old Town Scottsdale

In early 2019, we completed our transformation by moving into our custom-designed flagship location at 7012 E. Indian School Road in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. Engineered from the ground up for high-end conservation framing and client consultations, our current facility offers an optimal environment for fine art preservation.
