North Scottsdale is a full-service giclée, artwork-capture and framing studio.
This studio can take a project from professional artwork capture through giclée production and into the finished frame. The framing selection is smaller than Old Town overall, but it is excellent for print work, with full mat sets and an especially strong handmade-hardwood collection.
Full-service fine-art reproduction
Artwork capture, printing and framing can happen in one place.
North Scottsdale is a complete giclée production studio, not simply a pickup counter. Professional capture, file preparation, proofing, fine-art paper and canvas printing, edition work and framing can all be coordinated here.
That continuity matters for artists. We can look at the actual printed color, paper surface, canvas depth and finished dimensions before the frame is finalized. You can make presentation decisions against the real print instead of guessing from a monitor.
For artists producing ongoing editions, the studio can also keep the reproduction and framing conversation connected instead of treating them as unrelated vendors.
Framing at North
The framing selection is focused, but it is not basic.
North has full mat sets and a very strong collection of handmade hardwood frames chosen with prints, photographs, editions and contemporary artist projects in mind.

The studio has complete mat selections for color, tone, conservation-minded presentation and the practical decisions common to works on paper.
An unusually deep collection
North has a very large selection of handmade hardwood frames. This is one area where the selection is especially deep—even stronger here than at Old Town in that specific category.

We choose the framing samples here with giclée artists, photographers, prints and editions in mind rather than trying to make this a miniature copy of the Old Town showroom.
Design against the actual print
Paper, image scale, margins, mat color and frame finish can be judged together after the print exists physically.
Which projects fit here?
Choose North when the project is straightforward or tied to print production.
Quality is not the difference between the studios. Breadth and project need are. If the piece is high-end, valuable, sensitive or needs the deepest design selection, start in Old Town.
Prints, photographs and giclée editions
Especially when the frame direction is relatively straightforward and the client benefits from having capture, printing and framing together.
Artist production work
Edition production, repeatable print-and-frame specifications, canvas output and projects that need an efficient artist-focused workflow.
Anything high-end or conservation-sensitive
This applies regardless of medium. A valuable photograph, important print or rare edition should go to Old Town just like a valuable painting would.
Projects that need the huge selection
If the design conversation needs the broadest Frame Library, unusual specialty frames, complex mounting or a long high-touch consultation, Old Town is the better room.
