Use Old Town for high-end, valuable, conservation-sensitive or design-intensive work. Use North for giclée production, artwork capture and more straightforward framing that does not need the enormous Old Town selection. If you are not sure, call us.
The simple rule
Choose by what the piece needs.
A photograph can be a simple framing job or an important piece that needs more design time and a broader selection. The same is true of a print, painting or edition. If the distinction is not obvious, call us and we will point you to the right studio.
Important, valuable, sensitive or design-intensive work
Come to Old Town for high-end artwork of any kind, true conservation framing, unusual or technically demanding pieces, and projects where you want the deepest possible Frame Library and highest-touch design process.
Giclée production and more straightforward framing
North is a full-service giclée and artwork-capture studio with excellent framing. It is especially convenient for photographs, prints, editions and artist production work when the project does not need Old Town’s enormous overall selection.

Old Town Scottsdale
Our deepest framing and design resource.
Old Town is the place for projects where the artwork, preservation requirements or design possibilities deserve the broadest set of choices. This includes high-end photographs and prints just as much as paintings, works on paper, textiles and objects.
The full Frame Library, conservation work, specialty framing and main framing workroom are here. If the piece is valuable, sensitive, unusual, difficult to replace or simply important enough that you want to explore every good option, start here.
North Scottsdale
Full-service giclée, artwork capture and artist-focused framing.
North is not a reduced-service studio. It is a complete fine-art reproduction shop where professional artwork capture, giclée production and framing can move through one coordinated location.
The overall frame sample count is smaller than Old Town, but we choose the selection specifically for giclée artists, photographs and works on paper. North has full mat-board sets and a particularly deep handmade-hardwood collection. For a straightforward print or photo project, that focused selection can make the process faster without lowering the quality of the finished work.

Room photos, fabrics, paint colors and finish samples are useful when they matter. For large, fragile, valuable or unusual work, call before transporting it so we can plan the right studio and handling.
